the clicking of heels surrounds me

Oil on canvas, 120cm x 90cm (I think, will measure it)

A very long time coming, and a whole heap of work, but got there in the end. This isn't the end of birds and crows by a long long long way.... :heart:

Really really? Wow! I've spent so long painting this one that I honestly am so close I have no idea if it's any good, so you saying that has made my day! No matter how much of a fight it put up though I had to finish it, the ideas / feelings behind it were too important. The model is a friend of mine and she's inspired other paintings, so watch this space!
Haven't given much thought to a calendar, but it would be a nice idea, I'll let you know if I ever do make one. :hug:
