Blue, here is a shell for you
Inside you'll hear a sigh A foggy lullaby There is your song from me Joni Mitchell, lyrics from 'Blue' This is a bit of therapy for me as it turns out. It was meant to be very detailed, lots of layers, leaves and twigs all around her, but the blue just took over, as did my emotions. So what the heck! I can feel a series coming on I think. Love working this way, and it's giving me ideas for my oil paintings. Thank you to the lovely Lockstock  for being my inspiration  As always I'm having trouble getting an image I'm happy with, light conditions no good today, so will try again later.  Was also having trouble with DA categories, wanted to put it under 'emotional' but it wouldn't give me that along with painting, Grrr! so it went in people. Watercolour on board, with a wee bit of graphite and white ink 35cm x 28cm |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments. The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art. Please give your time to  this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a true difference to the artists featured here. |
